Gugu assumed the position of Chief Operating Officer in 2023. With a wealth of experience spanning two decades, Gugu has made significant contributions in Financial Services, Telecommunications and Professional Services and she has extensive knowledge of the insurance and investment management industries. Gugu has, amongst others, served as an independent non-executive director of Santam, Equites Properties and Sasfin Bank. Prior to this, Gugu held the position as an audit partner at PwC from 2008 until 2014.
