Santam proudly announces 2020 Intermediary awards winners

Santam, South Africa’s largest general insurer, today announced its 2020 Intermediary Awards winners.

The 2020 Intermediary Awards winners in the respective categories are:

• Gauteng
• National Brokers
• North
• South

Andrew Coutts, Head: Intermediated Business at Santam, says while they are disappointed that they are unable to engage with intermediaries in person this year, they are pleased they are able to recognise intermediary distinction in a different way. “We are confident this format of the recognition still enables us to acknowledge excellence, and to say thank you to intermediaries for the support and value they add to our business.”

Coutts explains that throughout Santam’s 103 years of offering insurance good and proper, the intermediary role has remained crucial. “During the current climate where risks for clients are increasing by the day, the intermediary’s role becomes even more significant as clients need to proactively prevent risk as much as they need solutions to transfer it. Intermediaries are perfectly positioned to become risk advisers and help make the cost of insurance sustainable, while creating true peace of mind for clients.”

As in previous years, the insurer recognises excellence in PL, CL, Agri and National Brokers. Each winner will still receive a framed certificate of merit as recognition of achievement.
